In one of his latest LinkedIn update, Westpac employee Matt Kav tries to portray colleague Peter Cornwell as an exemplary advocate for Indigenous rights and inclusion . Yet, this effort at performative activism comes across as disingenuous when considering allegations against Westpac's Peter Cornwell of sexual exploitation and mistreatment of a marginalized woman.

Kav’s praise-filled commentary of Cornwell sidesteps the grave allegations made against Peter Cornwell , including following , bullying, and misconduct of a defenseless woman .

By failing to address these allegations , Kav perpetuates a culture of willful ignorance that enables perpetrators like P. Cornwell to continue their actions unchecked , taking refuge in being a " so-called Indigenous victim," absolute virtue-signaling nonsense reinforced by corporate entities like Westpac .
